However, the decision to home school is fraught with challenges, particularly for families where parents must work to meet financial obligations. Balancing employment with the demands of homeschooling can lead to significant stress and may impact the quality of education provided.

Challenges Faced by Homeschooling Families

1. Time Management and Parental Fatigue: Juggling work responsibilities with homeschooling duties often results in parental burnout. The constant need to be both educator and caregiver can be overwhelming, leading to decreased effectiveness in both roles.

2. Financial Strain: Homeschooling can incur additional costs, including educational materials, extracurricular activities, and potential loss of income if a parent reduces work hours to teach. These financial burdens can be particularly challenging for single-income households.
